Wanting to learn more about effective leadership but tired of reading the same narrative about white men using their charisma and power to win a war, conquer whatever, or make truck loads of money? 🤮 🚨 Check out my book:🎨 🐺 Painted Wolves: A New Model of Leadership from Powerful WomenLink: https://shorturl.at/auIJ9Synopsis: As symbols of power, lions 🦁 have often been used as a motivational figure for leaders. But do lions really make the best role models? Or does the painted wolf 🎨 🐺 , with its collaborative and communal approach to life, provide a better example of leadership to follow?Painted Wolves calls into question our dominant views of leadership by examining the underrepresented story of women leading their countries around the globe.Through these pages, you will:• Challenge your perception of what it means to be an effective leader• Identify 6 critical skills for leading differently and• Develop strategies for supporting and growing the representation of women in leadershipFrom stories of the compassion and decisiveness of Jacinda Ardern in New Zealand to the collective approach of Mia Motley in the Caribbean, you’ll learn why we need a new model of leadership and how you can usher in a new era – the era of the painted wolf.

Creativity researchers have been talking about whether constraints help or hurt creativity for some time now, but we still haven't quite figured out how, why, and when! ⭐ In my article for the rising star issue of the Creativity Research Journal, I argue that the perception of constraints matters more than the constraint itself. 💡 This has implications for how leaders talk about constraints such as budgets and timelines with their teams. What words a leader uses will impact how team members respond to the constraints, and in turn, how they process and use that constraint to impact the creative process. Thanks to the International Society for the Study of Creativity and Innovation (ISSCI), James Kaufman, Roni Reiter-Palmon, and Giovanni Emanuele Corazza for inviting me to be a part of this issue! A one-hour DEAI training will not create the change you're looking for. I guarantee it. Instead, you need to design the way you lead. For this, you need more than a trainer, a consultant, or a coach. You need an architect. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/e2shyz2a
