The 12 best breakfast and brunch in Rancho Mirage (2024)

This hotel is designed by Jonathan Adler and offers luxury interiors with a retro-modern look. It's popular for festival-goers as it's located away from the main road. It has three pools, onsite activities like tennis and croquet, plus a spa.

Incredible experience staying at the Parker. I attended a Real Estate Conference staying 3 nights. The room was great, the service throughout the entire resort was excellent. ALL of the food was fantastic. The resort is beautiful, and just puts a smile on your face the entire time you are there. I loved everything about the stay. Side note, there are no coffee makers in the standard rooms. Not a huge deal, but for coffee lovers, you will need to walk to the main building for coffee in the morning.

I came here for work meetings and all 70 of us loved our stay. The rooms are impeccable and every space is incredibly stylish. The service is the restaurants wasn’t very speedy - but I’m not going to let it bring down the stars because the hotel experience was off the charts. Great towels and great robes.

Our stay at the Parker totalled over $800 a night, and we were given a room overlooking a parking lot with a dumpster out back. I could not open the windows the whole time. The service was terrible; rarely could you find someone who worked there to assist you, and the front desk phone often rang off the hook. We were there for a wedding (which was on the beautiful grounds) and the hotel guests generally agreed that it was more of a motel experience. For $300/night? Fine. But the price is egregious for what you get.I was very disappointed; I'd always loved going to the Parker for a drink because I love the decor. This is the first and last time I would am staying there. When I left, I let the front desk know twice I'd like a manager to call me. No one called. I called later in the day; no response. I finally reached Omar Thomas, the director of the front desk, to tell him about our experience - room overlooking the dumpster, understaffed - and he proceeded to blame me for not telling anyone during our stay and accused me of lying that I had requested to speak to a manager. We had arrived and immediately ventured into wedding festivities, and when we realized our room overlooked a dumpster on the second day, it was too much hassle to move (especially since our car battery had drained and we had to deal with that). Obviously, terrible customer service in line with the whole weekend.Overall, if the prices appropriately reflected the service and rooms, I would have been fine with our stay. But for $3,000 for a three day trip, ridiculous.

A great piece of palm springs history. Fantastic grounds and onsite restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Check-in was a bit clumsy and after the first day I noticed a lot of areas that needed to me better maintained (paint, drywall, electrical cables exposed). For the price I would expect more, the 4 seasons in Santa Barbara is the closest comparable and is much better quality for basically the same price.

This is a unique and wonderful hotel, it’s more like a resort hotel than a hotel in a traditional sense. My daughter had her wedding there, and it was such a delight. A most enjoyable, peaceful, delightful and exciting experience. It makes you feel at home while you’re away.

This is a great little secret that is near where I am staying. I walked over with a friend and she was in amazement just as i was the first time I went! Such funky decor. We had a glass of champagne and some beef carpaccio.

The Parker Palm Springs is incredible. We had a wonderful experience. The grounds are beautiful, makes you feel like you're walking through a secret garden. The service is also amazing, second to none. We forgot a few items in the room, the security team sent back the items free of charge! I highly recommend this hotel.

The food and service at Norma’s restaurant at the Parker hotel was excellent as usual. The ambience is wonderful. Pricey but well worth it. Great for special occasions.

I absolutely loved my stay at Parker Palm Springs. Very idyllic place to spend a few days in the sunshine. Beautiful rooms, lush landscaped property, great pool scene and delicious restaurants. Staff go above and beyond and are super friendly. Highly recommended.

It’s a physically beautiful property in the aggregate. However, the rooms, largely don’t have ironing boards/irons, towel bars, just some basic stuff. Like amazing toiletries offered, but after I shower no place to put the hand towel, throwing the bath towel over the door and clipping the others to the closet because we don’t want to order room service to change the towels just because there’s no place to hang them. I’m here for an event, and several of the other guests shared the same experience with me regarding towel bars/hooks, and no irons/ironing boards. If I need to pay $25 for a drink in the lobby, I want to wear a wrinkle free shirt.

We stayed here for the Indian Wells Final this weekend. I’m not a fan of writing bad reviews, it damages the business and the people that work in it, in this case I’m going to make an exception. Rooms in the north tower of this hotel are not remodeled, small for Palm Springs and bathrooms maybe from the 60’s. The gardens I must say are beautiful but the breakfast is so so, and the check in was very slow. I must say everyone was nice but twice room service messed up.Good luck with the hotel but we won’t see you anytime soon.

The Parker is a jewel of mid-century design spread throughout a curated forest. The forest surrounds the buildings and private outdoor spaces off labyrinthine paths creating privacy and intimacy. It is a unique experience which was perfect for our anniversary. A special thanks to Matt who runs Norma. Matt, your cuisine and atmosphere was the best we encountered in our four day stay in PS.

It’s such a nice hotel. The main problem is the pool. That’s the whole point of Palm Springs. It’s too small for the number of rooms so it gets packed and then it feels like you’re at a 3 star hotel. No chairs and tons of people peeing in the pool. The second kids pool is a joke. Just sad. I’ve always wanted to go there but we ended up leaving and going to L Horizon. So much better..

Nice hotel, beautiful location. Rooms are clean and decently large. Prices in restaurant are way too high (Espresso $9), selection is limited.

Parker is a gem. Loved the interiors so much. Our room was very clean and stunning. Pool fantastic (maybe the music a little too loud) and we loved the guys at the concierge.Recommended.

Incredibly beautiful and unique hotel experience. The design felt like spunky, Midcentury Palm Springs meets Alice and Wonderland madness and intrigue. It was pricey but worth it since PS is all about being pool adjacent. It’s close to downtown Palm Springs shops and restaurants as well. We were there for a wedding, which was beautifully done as well.

My husband and I had brunch at Norma's inside of the Parker Palm Springs hotel. The food was good along with the service. I would say the biggest downfall is that they will not allow you to walk the grounds after you dine there. Along with some of the other reviews, if you spend as much money as you do between food, drinks and valet, you would at least hope to get to walk around for a bit to enjoy the nice oasis they have created. We were told by the one of the security staff to save our pennies to stay there next time. I would have preferred to not have that comment said to us...

Consistently poor service on a 3 night stay, management took zero responsibility and had a mildly accusatory tone when confronting me on checkout. I had already told front desk on 3 occasions including 1 by text that they sent out asking about how I would rate the stay. We ordered room service for a drink, we called an hour later as we hadn’t received it and they said they were busy with other customers and cancelled it with no apology. After seeing no server at the pool, someone arrived after 45 mins of us being there to give other guests something, I asked if there was service at the pool area and was curtly told to wait, someone else came 15 minutes later. The night we arrived we asked to see the menu at Norma’s, a server (who was great) gave us a menu, there were only about 4 tables seated in there, the host who came over 10 minutes later asked what we were doing, I said I was looking at the menu and she walked off, I heard her say “are they staying here” to the server, she ignored us for another 5 minutes walking past several times. In the end I asked her to come over again and she asked if we were guests, I said yes and she said “good as we have other people trying to get in here” …it was 8pm and not just whatsoever, we were seated outside between 2 tables that hadn’t been cleared that weren’t cleared throughout our meal. They seemed completely uninterested in the fact that we had raised issues. I’d like to add the bars staff and the valets were great. Would not stay again, this is shocking for a 5 star of this calibre. They’re getting by on past reputation and design.

We were there to attend a wedding which was fabulous! The food was delicious. And the banquet wait staff were like a well oiled machine! It rained before & during the ceremony - the staff wiped down the chairs & there were clear umbrellas for all the guests! The only negative were the chairs in the lobby...old, filthy, stained. I couldn't sit on them.

Attended an outdoor wedding. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Food at the wedding was really good!! Bonus points for the cat that hangs out at the property! Super friendly 😻😸

Couldn’t have been happier with our experience. It was an incredible stay. The service was impeccable, the property was so unique and the rooms were spacious and luxurious. We only got to try Norma’s but their breakfast was delicious and again, service was all-time. Everyone from Mike at valet, Darren from front desk, Vanessa from Norma’s, sincere thanks for the attentive and thoughtful time.

Holidays inn experience with fourseasons prices. We arrived at the hotel around check-in time (4pm) and the second room wasn't ready till 45 minutes later. The front desk associate mentioned that we were going to get an upgrade and to our surprise the room was right next to the front desk, very noisy (when I specifically placed comments when I reserved that we will need a quiet room) , small pretty much didn't look like an upgrade (illusion of an upgrade). A few options were offered and we took a room located in the north side of the building. In that room, our party was woken up by loud noises when the ac kicks in at night and was not able to sleep properly. We notified the from deks the next morning of what we have been experiencing in addition to banging noise coming from the other room at various times during the night and I was not able to sleep that night. The front office associates stated that they will have their engineering team look at the issue. After a long day we came back to our rooms only to discover that the engineering team left some kind of electrical circuit on the bed and shower was dirty with pieces of insulation material from the ceiling. The front desk associate was Hazel if I remember we'll was great. Offered us a couple options to move that room to the south building. The next morning around 3 am I was woken up by the same loud metal banging coming from the ceiling. I was awake till 6 am because of that. I went back to sleep and was woken up once again by the same banging noise around 8:30am.I alerted it the front desk again and they said that they'll be sending their engineering team once again (I wasn't offered to move to a different room). We came back later on in the evening and I was told that the issue has been resolved. The next day around 4:30 am I was woken up again by the same noise from the ceiling. I was fuming.... I calmly alerted the front desk again. Oh and my safe didn't want to open which delayed the checkout process. We usually stay at the Ritz Carlton but wanted to try the Parker this time and it was like day and night!Having stayed in many hotels around the world we have seen what works and what doesn't. We understand that issues may occur. However in this case we were never contacted by a manager knowing that we faced many issues during our stay.At other hotels managers tend to meet us to listen and apologize whenever something goes wrong. It wasn't the case at the Parker hotel.I wasn't able to sleep the three nights I was there and our other room missed one night of sleep. If you can't sleep at a hotel you shouldn't be paying!I've showed the front office associates a video recording of the banging noise coming from the ceilingOn a positive note the team members were all kind to us!

Hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Would never recommend supporting this hotel in any way shape or form. While we were there with our large party we had multiple grievances; their customer service is awful. The front desk folks lack information to answer standard hospitality questions. The cleaning team will enter your room even with "Do Not Disturb" signs on the door. Billing is a nightmare as they will charge the wrong card or over charge your CC. Then the upper management lacks the ability to take responsibility for their staff. Overall after traveling the world and staying in countless hotels, I have never had a worse more unprofessional stay in my life. I would NEVER recommend anyone to ever stay at the Parker even if it was the last place in Palm Springs available. I would suggest you sleep in your car before you give these con-artists a second of your time or money. Do yourself a favor and never put yourself in my shoes or you will end up with the same frustration as myself and my team have.
